A Virtuous Woman

4:55 PM

I am so proud to be a woman and more so to be a virtuous woman. I hope and pray I can be the best example of what that is to my daughters.

What does it mean to be a virtuous woman:

Faith: A virtuous woman serves God with all of her heart. She seeks His will for her life. Always following His ways.

Marriage: She loves and respects her husband with all of her heart. Shows him kindness through the little things. She is trustworthy.

Mothering: A virtuous woman teaches her children the word of God. She nurtures her children with love. Guides them through every path of trial and tribulation. She disciplines with wisdom, never anger (well tries at least. I'm a work in progress. LOL)

Health: A virtuous woman takes good care of her body. She prepares healthy meals for her and her family. Your body is your temple. You must care for it as such.

Service: A virtuous woman is a selfless one. We put others before ourselves. We enjoy helping others and doing what we can for our community.

Finances: A virtuous woman spends money wisely. We do our best to be as frugal as possible. We try our best to not be frivolous. ( I give this one my best shot, but hey no ones perfect.)

Industry: A virtuous woman works willingly with her hands.
I love this one because I enjoy working and learning new skills. I've created multiple sources of income for my family in many different ways. I also enjoy learning how to fix things on my own rather than pay someone to do it. I do believe my girls see this quality in me and hopefully apply it to themselves as they grow up.

Homemaking: A virtuous woman creates a warm and welcoming home. She keeps a happy and healthy home. She uses hospitality to minister to those around her.

Time: A virtuous woman uses her time wisely. She works diligently to complete her daily tasks. She is never lazy. The ultimate multi-tasker.

Beauty: A virtuous woman is a woman of worth and beauty and not the shallow kind. She has inner beauty that only comes from Christ. Her kindness and heart for others makes her radiate beauty. Her smile brings joy to others.

I am so proud to be a virtuous woman. I am not perfect at any of these, but I try. I only want to be the best I can be in Gods eyes as well as my families. My task of mothering 3 daughters is vast but I am up for the challenge. I refuse to let them down. They will see my willingness to do my best for us as well as others. Only put your best effort forth. Be proud of what you can accomplish even if its small. Be proud of the tiny stepping stones that brought you to where you are now. Thank God for your troubles because they build faith and character. I am proud of you humble homemaker's raising children. It's not about what our job description is, it's about who we are as people. It's about our hearts. I am proud of all woman that go out there every single day to provide for their families any way that they can. We are all amazing and we are all doing the very best we can. I want you to know that I see you and I know it's never easy. I am proud of US.
