This Is 30

Today is my 30th Birthday! I sure do have a whole lot to reflect back on. First off...What a blessed life I share with my amazing husband and incredible kids. We have come so far it's mind boggling. To think we were just 14 when we started dating and now here we are in our beautiful home filled with love and laughter. This beautiful life is all because of him. He made my dreams come true. I wanted nothing more than to be a Mommy and do what I love, which is being creative in business and in home life. I am able to do all those things because of him.

My 20's were CRAZY! SO much.Change! I became a Mom at 21. There is a large chunk of my early 20's that I can barely remember. We STRUGGLED! We both were still trying to figure our own selves out and now we had this precious baby girl to provide for and things were tough but we did it.

When Willow was born Tim was finishing college. He left every week for 3-4 days at a time. I was on my own with a toddler and newborn baby...Life sure was hard then but we did it.

He graduated valedictorian of his class and was ready to start his career...He did it...For us.

We got our first home and it was one of the best days of my life. To live in a beautiful neighborhood and feel comfortable felt so far away for so long but finally our hard work and sacrifice had paid off. We did it...Together

Having Indie was such a different experience. I feel like I really got to enjoy the process more. The stress had been completely eliminated from the equation. All there was to feel was joy and content. She completes us and life is so so good.

(Someone won't sit still long enough for even the quickest photo. This silly girl is on the move!)

These ups and downs tested us but we never bent under the pressure. We always drew each other near and were closer and more solid because of it.

Our 20's were spent building this foundation that we now proudly stand upon and I am so damn proud of us. We are both successful in our own right... We had goals and we achieved them and now we set new ones. Who knows what's next...But from this point on it will just be icing on the cake.
