Beyond Blessed

5:10 PM

So our morning started at about 5am! I'm quite surprised I fell asleep at all. Livy stayed over at Nana's so I was able to snuggle up next to my hubby with out a 33lbs little lady between us. The comfort of my hubby being right there must have soothed me to sleep. We were on the road by 5:30, I was a nervous wreck in the car. Literally about to throw up at any moment. I kept my composure...thank God! Thanx to Tim's skilled driving we made it there with enough time for us to get lost TWICE! Finally we made it to where we needed to be. Two other mamas were waiting with us, I wondered what they were here for and prayed we would all have good news today. The calm feeling in the waiting room helped ease my shaking knees and sweaty palms. The office must be used to working with extremely worried and emotional Mama's because they are all so sweet. How is it that men are always so calm in these situations? Hubby was great, lookin up sports stats on his phone. So I followed his lead and did my daily rounds on Facebook. Hmm I guess keeping your mind occupied does help! Ha! Finally they called us in, I was laying on the bed looking around the room and couldn't help but think of all the bad news that is delivered in this room, but I also thought about all the good news too, so many worried hearts put to ease. Luckily we didn't have to wait long, the sweetest Dr. Came in to perform the 11/2 hour long ultra sound. It was so thorough, she looked at EVERYTHING! And finally the moment we had been praying for, she said everything seems to look perfect. You have a beautiful healthy baby girl and nothing to worry about... At all! Oh my goodness, thank you Lord! We are so grateful for a healthy baby I can't even put it into words!

My hubby was so sweet, he took me out to lunch at the top of Macy's in Union Square and then we headed home with a new appreciation for this little life. We are just so happy today and I am so thankful for all of the sweet comments and messages I have been receiving. They really did help me feel better, and thank you God for blessing us with a healthy baby!

Her hands never left her face, just like her sister! SMH!!

Snuggling up with her little hand <3 It really is amazing how similar she is to her sister. Their ultrasounds are almost identical!
